Lil' John Ownbey of Cleveland drove the Orr Brothers Construction, Kryptonite racecar to his second straight Late Model win at Mountain View Raceway, north of Chattanooga, on Saturday night in the 25-lap main event.

Mother Nature watered a perfect race track and 131 cars rolled through the pit gate as the rain gave way to sunny skies.

Ownbey started out his evening by setting Fast Time honors among the 14 entrants with a lap around the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval in 10.526 seconds.  That earned Ownbey the pole position for the main event.

Ownbey took the checkered flag with a 1.532 second margin of victory over Eddie King, Jr. of Olive Springs and Josh Collins of Strawberry Plains. Josh Walker of Ringgold was sixth overall.
