Ober Gatlinburg will extend its annual shutdown for maintenance and improvements from April 26- May 13. Ober Gatlinburg will reopen to the public on Friday, May 14.
The shutdown will consist of all departments making cosmetic improvements as well as inspections and maintenance on activities. This includes some capital and infrastructure improvements. Ober Gatlinburg will be closed to the public during this time.
The annual shutdown has been extended until through May 13, to allow more time for staff to complete necessary projects. Ober Gatlinburg will reopen on May 14, with a refreshed staff and improvements.
