My reason for writing is to congratulate the new mayor. Well-fought campaign, sir.
After eight years of the last mayor gutting the fire and police, I hope you are somewhat more friendly. The last mayor took a career and turned it into just a job. Don't take my word - look at how many have left in the last eight years.
As of now the retirees cannot use the health center after 65 and are dropped from health care. Way to say thank you after years of risk and service.
Please do better because, sir, you could not do worse.
