Lloyd Lee McMillian Sr.
Lloyd Lee McMillian, Sr., 72, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, surrounded by his loving wife and kids.
Lloyd was born on Dec. 21, 1948, in Chattanooga, where he was a lifelong resident. He was a machinist for Sonoco Products for 37 years and after he retired Lloyd enjoyed tinkering around with anything mechanical and loved being outdoors.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Hamill McRaith, his father Lloyd Dillard McMillian, and his son (Skip)Lloyd Lee McMillian Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn McMillian, sons, Donny (Jennifer) McMillian of Ooltewah, Ronny(Michelle) of Ooltewah, and daughter, Tammy (Bryan) Goff of Chattanooga, his five grandchildren, Alex McMillian of Ooltewah, Trevor McMillian of Ooltewah, Shelby McMillian of Nashville, Jacob McMillian of San Diego, Ca., and Savanah McMillian of Ooltewah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 19, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Old Lee Highway at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Alex Hall officiating.
