Brandon Gaines
Bethel Bible Village has hired Brandon Gaines as director of Retail Operations at the Bethel Thrift Store. Mr. Gaines will be responsible for managing thrift store employees, store operations, and overseeing sales at the Bethel Thrift Store.
Mr. Gaines graduated with a master’s degree in Business Administration from Liberty University. With his background in business administration and management, he is qualified to manage and oversee all thrift store operations.
“I feel called to be here at Bethel, and I enjoy using my background and skills to assist this ministry in helping as many kids as we possibly can,” said Mr. Gaines.
Mr. Gaines has over five years of retail experience and prior to joining Bethel, was the assistant manager at Lifeway Christian Store. He has also worked in the non-profit sector, specifically assisting at-risk youth.
Nicole Gaines has been named the director of Human Resources. She will be responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources function at Bethel.
Ms. Gaines graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College. She has over 30 years experience in the HR field ranging from employee relations, recruitment, project management, compliance, training and consulting.
"I've always believed that the HR function is a critical service role and beneficial from so many perspectives in meeting overall objectives," said Ms. Gaines. "From reviewing Bethel’s mission statement, I am honored to serve in this role as I’ve always had a passion for HR in general. It is even more fulfilling in this capacity to indirectly impact the lives of children and teens who have experienced difficult circumstances in their lives."
Prior to joining Bethel, Ms. Gaines was a business owner/agent for 12 years and built and managed a property and casualty insurance agency with Total Insurance Solutions in Chattanooga. She also worked in a professional capacity as a paralegal at Strang, Fletcher et al early in her career. She later worked as an employment consultant, a senior employee relations consultant and manager in the call center while in corporate America for 14 years collectively at Unum, formerly Provident Life & Accident.
