Walter Black, Jr. , 73, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. 

He was a 1966 graduate of Howard High School. He retired from Mueller Company after 32 years. He also worked for Vincent Printing, Shaw Industries, and Custom Custodial. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Black; and father, Walter Black, Sr.  

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Mary Lois Black; sons, Terrance (Felisha) Black and Marcus (Chariti) Black; grandchildren; Terrance, Erykah, and Jarquez Black, Marcus, Jackson, and Colin Black; sisters, Jacquelyn (Ervin) Bonner, Sandra Henderson; brothers, Larry (Marjorie) Black, Tony (Delois) Black; brother in law, Roland (Bertha) King; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be held from 2–6 p.m. on Monday, July 27, at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
