Here are upcoming events at Christ United Methodist Church:

FunDay Sunday - On Sunday, Aug. 22, Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 E. Brainerd Road, will have a huge outdoor worship service with music starting at 10 a.m., followed by a free picnic lunch. After lunch, there will be inflatable games, a petting zoo, pony rides, and lots of games.  Bring your camp chair or blanket and come join us for a fun, fun FunDay Sunday!

 

New In-Person Worship - On Sunday, Aug.

29, Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 E. Brainerd Rd, will have a new worship service at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary combining Willie Kitchens' gospel style and beautiful contemporary Christian music.  A powerful contemporary service will be offered 11:15-noon in the Commons, and a Blended Traditional service will take place in the sanctuary, also from 11:15 to noon.  Come worship with us and hear an encouraging word of hope for these times!  You can also worship online at www.christchurchchatt.org and on Facebook Live at @christchurchchatt.

 

Community Cafe - On Wednesday night, Sept. 8, Christ Church at 8645 E. Brainerd Road, will open something called Community Cafe, and everyone is invited to come and enjoy a free dinner from 5-6:15.  If the kids can use some help with their homework, help will be available after dinner.  Community Cafe is open every Wednesday evening.

Red Bank Commissioners voted unanimously on first reading on Tuesday night to raise the property tax by 11 cents.
