Billie Pollard
On Sunday, July 25, 2021, God called home one of his children, Billie Faye Pollard.
She was born on January 18, 1945, to the late Charles James Pollard and Jensy McClurkins Pollard.
Billie Faye was baptized at a young age at Mt. Paran Baptist Church in Chattanooga, where she was a member for many years. She later became a member of Silver Crest Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her death.
Billie Faye was a graduate of the Howard High School class of 1962. She was a member of the Progressive Secretarial Association. Her clerical skills and proficient typing led to her employment at the Chattanooga Fire Department. She was employed there for 35 years. After her retirement in 2004, Billie Faye enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with family.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Charles James Pollard and Jensy McClurkins Pollard; grandparents, Matthew George and Etta McClurkins; several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
She is survived by her only sibling and devoted sister, Charles Etta Pollard, and a host of cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3, followed by a 1 p.m. service in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
