Youngest Medal Of Honor Recipient Kyle Carpenter Speaks At Medal Of Valor Luncheon

Kyle Carpenter, the youngest Medal of Honor recipient, was the featured speaker Tuesday at the 5th Annual Medal of Valor luncheon at the Chattanooga Convention Center. 

Mr. Carpenter was given the “medal of honor” for his actions in Afghanistan.  He is author of the book “You Are Worth It.” 

The annual event is held to raise money for the Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center in downtown Chattanooga. 

Molly Hudgens received the Civilian Medal of Honor and Becky Cope English accepted the Charles H.

Coolidge Leadership Award.
