James George Kendricks III, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021.

He retired from Mayfield after many years of service.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cecil Walker Rawls; father, James George Kendricks, Jr.; brothers, Julius Kendricks and Fred Kendricks; sister, Mozelle Williams.

Survivors include his son, T J (Casey) Hyatt of Cartersville, GA; granddaughters, Nicole Hyatt of Cartersville, GA and Izzie Brown of Savannah, GA; grandson, Chris Brown of Savannah, GA; aunt, Loubertha Wadley of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.

James will lie in state on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.

There will be no service.
