Chattanooga Rapper To Host Food Drive In Honor Of His Mother

Jamaal Hicks, also known by his artist name, Maal the Pimp, will be hosting a food drive on Jan. 22 in honor of his mother, Brenda Carr.

The H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Eat) Drive will take place on that Saturday starting at 1 p.m. at the Fast Stop Gas Station, 2285 Wilcox Blvd. in Chattanooga, across from the Avondale Recreation Center. 
 
For those who are not able to drop off items on Saturday, donations of non-perishable food can also be taken to Habitat for Humanity, 1201 East Main St.

in Chattanooga, throughout the week leading up to the event.
