Norman Wallin
Norman Lee Wallin, 81, of Trion, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022.
He worked in the print department at Textile Printing in Chattanooga for many years. He later worked for Southern Champion Tray until his retirement. He had a passion for music, gardening, and going to Trade Day in Trion with his brother. He and Evalene enjoyed traveling with his sister and brother-in-law in their motor home. He attended Midway Baptist Church in Trion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Wallin and Alice Catlett Wallin; brother, Paul Wallin; and sisters, Nell West and Bib Watts.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Evalene Wallin; daughters, Donna (Wayne) Henderson and Kim (Ricky) Ramsey; sons, Craig (Amy) Wallin and Kevin (Melissa) Wallin; grandchildren, Chris (Laura) Henderson, Katy Pittman, Lindsey Wallin, Britt Wallin, Olivia (RJ.) Grona, and Julia Rose Wallin; great grandchildren, McKinley Henderson, Channing Henderson, Maverick Pittman, Kason Wallin, Sarah Brooks, Maylee Bowan, and Athena Grona; sisters, Carolyn (Tom) Hegwood, Doris (James) Mashburn, and Kay (Ron) Mcilveene; and brothers, Jackie (Cathy) Wallin and Therron (Alan) Scoggins.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastors Lowell Cantrell and Steve Peppers officiating.
Interment will be at LaFayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Wayne Henderson, Chris Henderson, Craig Wallin, Kevin Wallin, and Ricky Ramsey.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
