Mary Prichard
Mary Ann Reed Prichard “The Mur” passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the age of 89.
She was a graduate of Central High School. She retired from DuPont and Olan Mills. She was an avid Tennessee Vol fan with a love/hate relationship that we Tennessee fans can all respect. GBO
The last years of her life were lived at Morning Pointe of Hixson where she met many new friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Prichard and her mother, Hazel Dunwoody Reed; brothers, Gene, Frank and sister, Elizabeth Reed Manies.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Terri Prichard Conwell, (Brian) Orlando, FL, Lori Prichard Cozens Charlotte, NC, Jami Prichard Gaskin (Donnie) Charlotte, NC., grandson, Brian Angel; sisters, Carol Reed Brooks and Nancy Reed Coleman.
Family would like to thank her nephew, Lee Coleman who she loved dearly, and neighbor, John who went every Friday to visit with her.
Our family would also like to thank all the Caregivers at Morning Pointe of Hixson. Her personal caregivers, especially Mona, who was with her at the end. We appreciate EVERY ONE OF YOU.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 9, at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 9, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
A private burial will take place at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
