Jeffrey Eugene Ford, 58, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, in his home surrounded by family and close friends.

What those he leaves behind will miss most is hard to say. His remarkably quick wit, dedication to his family, great love of his children and grandchildren, unwavering fandom of Jimmy Buffet and sports, and love of the Florida Keys are just a few of the many attributes that made Jeff who he was. Whether you knew him as dad, friend, Papa, son, husband, Bove, brother, Uncle Jefford, or other nicknames, to know him was to love him and laugh with him.

Jeff worked as a risk analyst at McKee Foods Corporation for the past 21 years. He was an alumnus of Notre Dame High School (1981) and the University of Tennessee Chattanooga (1985) where he earned a bachelor’s in Communication.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Janna King Ford; their three children, Layne, Weston, and Graham; two grandchildren, Carter and Wade; his mother, Clara Ford Rheay; and brothers, Jason (Yohama) and Joel (Judith). He’s also survived by lifelong friends, Randy Ellis, Gregg Whalen, Joe Myers, Barry Payne, and Stan Sachse.

Arrangements are by Companion Funeral & Cremation Service in Cleveland, Tn.

The family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at Clear Creek Church of Christ in Hixson, Tn. A service will follow at 5:30 p.m.
