The Golden Needles Sewing Ministry meets June 2 and 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at Middle Cross Baptist Church, 4009 Norcross Road, in Hixson, in the Family Life Center at the church.
The Golden Needles make lap robes, wheelchair saddle bags, heart pillows for breast cancer surgery patients, and much more.
Anyone can join this group and participants don't have to know how to sew. If you can pin/cut out patterns, stuff pillows, iron, or sweep, you can help. Cotton fabric donations are always welcome.
