Secretary Hargett To Present Anne Dallas Dudley Voter Registration Award To 2 Hamilton County High Schools

Secretary of State Tre Hargett, local legislators and the Hamilton County Election Commission will present the Anne Dallas Dudley Gold Level Award to Ivy Academy and Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences for registering 100% of eligible students who are 18 years old to vote.

This award is named in honor of renowned Tennessee suffragist Anne Dallas Dudley.

The presentations will be on Monday at 7:30 a.m. at Ivy Academy, and at 8:30 a.m. at Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences.

Those in attendance will include Secretary of State Tre Hargett, Ivy Academy Chattanooga High School Principal Rachel Swafford-Cook, Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences Executive Principal Jim D. Boles, Hamilton County Administrator of Elections Scott Allen, Senator Bo Watson, Senator Todd Gardenhire, and Rep. Yusuf Hakeem.
