The Grant, Konvalinka & Harrison, P.C. law firm announces that Michael Holmes has joined the firm as an associate.  

Mr. Holmes is a native of Memphis and first moved to Chattanooga to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2012. 

After graduating with a degree in philosophy and religion, with a history minor, in 2016, he moved back to Memphis to attend the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law. 
Mr. Holmes served as an articles editor on the University of Memphis Law Review, and competed as a finalist in the Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. 

Upon graduation, he became a member of the Tennessee Bar and clerked for the Honorable Shelley D.
Rucker, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee. 

Mr. Holmes is now working with the Bankruptcy and Litigation practice at GKH.
