Sue Ann Ulrey, 87, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023.

She was a resident of Harrison, and a member of Ware Branch Church of Christ. Sue was a preacher’s wife, with five beautiful children. She was very creative, using her decorating skills in her florist business. She was also wonderful at making crafts, crocheting, and sewing. In 2001, Sue moved from North Georgia, finally settling in Harrison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Ulrey; parents, A.B. and Ellen Harrison; daughter, Joy Ferguson; brother, Bill Harrison, and grandson, Will Taylor.

Sue is survived by her sons, Mike Ulrey (Theresa), David Ulrey (Rose), and Mark Ulrey (Betty); daughter, Debbie Allen (Stanley); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Highway 58. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Minister John Deck officiating.

Sue will be laid to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery with her husband, Ronnie Ulrey.
