Judge Bean Is Recipient Of Judge Sharon Lee Award For Judicial Excellence

The Tennessee Municipal Judges awarded their 2023 Judge Sharon Lee Award for Judicial Excellence to retired City Court Judge Russell Bean.

Judge Bean received the award last weekend at their conference in Franklin, Tn. 

Presenting the award was Retired Chief Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court Sharon Lee for Judge Bean’s 22 years of service to the state of Tennessee. 

Judge Bean held the position of Governor of the East Tennessee District for the Tennessee Municipal Judges as well as being a member of the legislative committee and the long range planning committee.

In presenting the award, Judge Lee said the most major accomplishment was Judge Bean’s production of a safe driving video that was furnished to judges across the state of Tennessee and shown to young drivers.
