Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation has been recognized nationally for superior patient outcomes. And although the hospital draws patients nationally, its five outpatient physical therapy locations have been located within Tennessee. Now, the hospital will serve residents within the northwest Georgia area with a new outpatient physical therapy clinic located at 4618 Battlefield Pkwy. in Ringgold.
“We are excited to bring the high level of care we are known for to residents in and around Catoosa County,” said Matthew A.
Gibson, Ph.D., FACHE, president and CEO for Siskin Hospital.
Mr. Gibson said that a primary benefit of the Battlefield Parkway location is continuity of care. “Patients who leave Siskin Hospital and return to their Northwest Georgia home can now have a seamless experience of care as they transition to outpatient therapy. Our clinicians in Georgia have access to their records and can ensure continued improvements,” he said.
A second benefit Mr. Gibson adds is convenience, stating that research shows patients are more likely to attend their full course of treatment and have better outcomes when outpatient care is convenient to their home.
“This is certainly in keeping with our mission and goal of enabling access,” said Mr. Gibson.
The public is invited to the new outpatient clinic ribbon cutting next Tuesday from 9-11:30 a.m.
