“It’s the most wonderful time of year again,” said Ms. Hall-Scott, the president of North Georgia Television, “and all of us at WDNN-TV are excited to offer a family-friendly program featuring some of the amazing talent from our own area, filmed and produced in WDNN’s Dalton-based studio. I grew up excited to watch the annual TV line-up of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “A Christmas Story,” the David Letterman specials, and the like. Getting lost in the magic of the season for that hour or two that the programs played never failed to invoke the excitement of the holidays. Our WDNN team thought it would be fun to bring back the old-time magic of those early Christmas specials hosted by celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Dean Martin. So, that’s what we did - north Georgia style.”
“Along with the musical performances, a story unfolds involving Santa and Mrs. Claus, plus a baby elf that the jolly old couple were tasked with watching,” Ms. Hall-Scott said. “If you tune in - and we hope that you will - expect to experience strong feelings of nostalgia and merriment.”
