Mary Frances Chambers Ridge, 87, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Alexian Village on Signal Mountain.
She enjoyed working with special needs children at Rivermont Elementary School. Mary loved her animals and working in her yard. She will surely be missed.
She was the daughter of the late Gid and Dorthy Victoria Edwards Chambers. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Donald Ridge Sr.; her sons, Joe Donald, Jr., and Timothy Shawn, whom she loved and missed very much.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy J. Finley; and two nephews, Eugene, and Mark Hixon.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside on Monday, Dec. 11, at 1:30 p.m. at Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home prior to moving on the service at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
