Mrs. Barbara J. Hall, age 91, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday December 6, 2023, at Dalton Place Assisted Living.

She was the daughter of the late W. Ebb and May Bell King and was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jack Hall; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary and Ray Coker, Doris Ann King and Wanda Lanell King; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Cecil King, Edgar and Ruby King, Bob and Frances King, Dewey and Jo King, and Alfred and Becky King.

Barbara was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church. She was retired from Rogers Dye and Finishing.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Larry Chance of Destin, FL; grandson, Zachary Chance of New Orleans; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Mchan of Cedartown, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with speaker Michael Goolsby and Hospice Chaplin Regina Wilhelem officiating.

Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.
