Tennessee, after getting elevated to #2 in the nation, fell behind Florida 17-4 on Wednesday night and couldn't catch up. The Gators won 67-54.
A layup by Olivier Nkamhoua put the Vols just a point behind at 22-21, but that was it and Florida led at the half 27-21.
Florida won the second half 40-33 to put the game away.
The Gators got 20 points from Colin Castleton and 14 from Kyle Lofton.
Zakai Zeigler scored 15 for Tennessee, while Nkamhoua and Santiago Vescovi had 11 each
Tennessee drops to 18-4 and 7-2.
Florida improves to 13-9, 6-3..
