Isaiah 117 House At Chambliss Center For Children To “Spread The Love” This February

  • Tuesday, February 7, 2023

“Spread the Love” and awareness for Isaiah 117 House at Chambliss Center for Children by filling a friend or family member’s yard with hearts for a day.

During the month of February, for a small donation, volunteers from the Isaiah 117 House at Chambliss Center for Children will place dozens of heart signs in the yard of nominated individuals in Hamilton County as part of a national Isaiah 117 House fundraiser. After 24 hours, the hearts will be removed and go on to the next house, business or church to “Spread the Love” to another nominee.

“This is our third year of ‘Spreading the Love’ to benefit the Isaiah 117 House at Chambliss Center for Children,” said Chambliss Center for Children Communications Coordinator Rachel Carroll. “As we build the house, this is one way our community can get involved and help spread awareness. It’s also a great way to brighten someone’s day or show them how much you care.”

The Isaiah 117 House at Chambliss Center for Children is currently under construction and will serve children and youth on removal day by providing a welcoming place of respite as they await a suitable foster care placement. Proceeds from the Spread the Love fundraiser will benefit the organization during the construction phase.

Nominations for Spread the Love can be made at www.Isaiah117House.com/Spreadthelove under the Chambliss - Hamilton County link.
