The Salvation Army’s 614 Corps Day Shelter hosted a suit giveaway event for the Chattanooga community On Monday and Tuesday.
The Salvation Army opened its doors to the public to shop at no charge for professional attire such as suits, slacks, button up shirts and ties. Volunteers assisted guests in finding the correct clothing size as the shoppers cruised the large selection. While some lightly used items were donated by community members, Giorgio’s Men’s Warehouse donated more than 300 new suits in varying sizes to help those who may otherwise not have professional clothing.
