There is a Little Soddy Creek Cleanup event happening on March 18 at 11 a.m.
To participate, sign up and fill out the waiver here.
Meet us at Soddy Elementary, 260 School St., anytime after 10 a.m., where the welcome table will be open and you can sign in and attend a quick safety briefing before the cleanup starts at 11 a.m.
Supplies will be provided, as well as sodas and a water refill station at the welcome table. However, please bring your own water bottle and wear sturdy footwear.
Watch out for snakes and use bug spray to protect from ticks and mosquitos.
There will be a more challenging cleanup location and a less intense alternative location. Kids are allowed at the alternative location.
