Upcoming Special Event And Construction Road Closures Announced

The Chattanooga Division of Transportation announces the following upcoming special event and construction road closures:  

Special Events -

Guatemala VS Chivas Soccer Match - Finley Stadium
 
The following roads will be closed on Friday, March 24 from 3 p.m.-midnight:
• Reggie White Boulevard between the Chattanooga Skate Park north entrance and W. 20th Street;
• Chestnut Street between W. 17th Street and W. 19th Street; and
• W. 19th Street between Reggie White Boulevard and Chestnut Street.
Street parking will be prohibited on Chestnut Street within the closure on the dates/times listed above.
Vehicles left within the closure will be towed at the owner's expense.


Los Trompos / Rock The Riverfront
 
Riverfront Parkway between Power Alley and Chestnut Street will be closed Saturday, March 25 from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. for Los Trompos / Rock The Riverfront.  All trucks with three axles or more will be prohibited on Riverfront Parkway between Martin Luther King and Power Alley. Detours will be posted.  



Construction Updates - 

2300 Tunnel Boulevard

The 2300 block of Tunnel Boulevard will be closed effective immediately until Monday, March 27 at noon for sewer repairs. Detours are currently posted. 


Vance Road

The closure of Vance Road between Van Ness Street and Lee Highway will be extended until April 28 due to unforeseen engineering challenges. CDOT is coordinating with the on-site contractor to potentially open one lane in the coming weeks. Updates are forthcoming. Detours are currently posted.
