Morning Pointe Foundation Announces Seniors Got Talent 2023 Show Lineup

  • Friday, March 31, 2023

The Morning Pointe Foundation lineup of Seniors Got Talent shows is set for 2023. Each year, the Morning Pointe Foundation hosts three senior talent shows in Tennessee (Chattanooga, Franklin and Knoxville) and one in Lexington, Ky.

Each show is open to any talented seniors (not just Morning Pointe community residents) age 62 and older. Acts have included singers, musicians, dancers, poets, comedians and more.

The Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent shows raise funds for the Morning Pointe Foundation through
sponsorships and ticket sales.

The 2023 Seniors Got Talent schedule is as follows:
Chattanooga – Aug. 8 at the Silverdale Center Creekside Theatre
Lexington – Sept. 12 at the Lexington Opera House
Franklin – Oct. 17 at The Franklin Theatre
Knoxville – Nov. 14 The Bijou Theatre

All Seniors Got Talent shows take place at 7 p.m. local time and support the Morning Pointe Foundation. Tickets to each show will be $10 this year.

“We can’t wait for a new season to allow the seniors in our greater communities a chance to shine,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director. “We love that these shows not only provide fabulous entertainment and make seniors’ dreams come true, but they support scholarships for worthy students at our partner colleges who are pursuing careers in senior care. Last year, the Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent shows raised $90,000 for the Foundation, and we can’t wait to see how many lives are touched this year.”

The Morning Pointe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Morning Pointe Senior Living founded by Tennessee-based senior healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and J. Franklin Farrow. The 501(c)3 nonprofit public service organization was created in 2014 to provide caregiver support programs, sponsor educational awareness events, and fund clinical scholarships to advance the care of seniors throughout the Southeast.

“What a fun and successful time we had with our Seniors Got Talent shows last year!” said Mr. Vital. “These are such entertaining and uplifting evenings. We look forward to bringing out even more talent and raising more support for our dedicated students this year.”
