The Church on Main has been an event and wedding venue since 2010 and with the current owners since 2021.

Brenna Caillat said, "A year ago we decided to change our name to reflect who we are and reintroduce ourselves. "We are now The Historic."

She said, "We offer space for events and weddings in our main venue holding up to 250 people and we have another brand new space in our basement that is now a fully functioning speakeasy, Temperance. This smaller space can be an add-on to the venue rental or a standalone rental for smaller events and Christmas parties, etc. The capacity is roughly 60 with stool and furniture seating as well as high top tables."

Originally built in 1904 as a church, it was later repurposed. It includes approximately 4,800 square feet of original hardwood floors, exposed brick, and beams that can make for a modern backdrop or vintage feel and look, it was stated.

The venue can host 200 for both a wedding and reception in the same location. A cocktail-style reception can accommodate up to 250 guests.
