Beloved wife, mother and mamaw to many, and a woman who loved well and was well-loved, Delores Ann Eaves, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed peacefully on June 21, 2023 at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Percy Eaves; mother, Louise Moore; sister, Doris Fulbright; niece, Carol Fulbright; niece, Barbara Mullins; and great-grandson, Jayden Eaves.
She was a military wife, accompanying her husband state-side and overseas while he proudly served his country.
She is survived by her children, Ed Eaves, Pam Hixson (Tracy), David Eaves (Kathy) and Trish Cain; grandchildren, Percy Eaves (Nicole), Harley Eaves (Summer), Brittany Robbins (Will), Joseph Hixson (Jareshae), Tyler Hixson, Ali Clarke (Sheldon), Madi Cain and Rylee Cain; great-grandchildren, Trinity Baskowsky (Brian), Kenzie Eaves, Ryleigh Eaves, Colson Eaves, Anthonee Hixson, Jeremija Hixson, Chrystian Hixson, Aliiyah Hixson, Ella Grace Hixson, Kairo Clarke, Raylee Robbins and Ella Marie Robbins; a special niece, Kim Toomey (Michael); and several special adopted grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 25 from 3-4 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 4 p.m.
The family asks that you wear colorful attire to reflect her bright personality.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
