The new director of development of the Humane Educational Society is Christopher Atib.

Mr. Atib is responsible for developing and enhancing relationships with donors and sponsors, along with developing partnerships with the business and philanthropic community to advance the mission of Humane Educational Society.

Mr. Atib comes to HES from Fort Collins, Co. as a seasoned fundraiser serving organizations such as American Heart Association, Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, and the Green House Project.

He is also a dog dad to rescue pup, "Leo the Mighty." He believes animal welfare is affected by the relationships human beings have with animals, and that it is our duty to ensure all animals are treated humanely, responsibly, and with dignity and respect.

Mr. Atib said he is an adventure seeker and loves to shred local trails on his mountain bike - he also enjoys hiking, swimming, and exotic foods.
