Chattanooga Football Club has announced Mary Beth Sutton as January’s Community Hero of the Month.
Founder and Executive Director of WaterWays, Mary Beth and her team have worked to provide outdoor education opportunities to local students with efforts to repair the rivers, creeks, and streams through natural remediation techniques.

The first Female Student Athlete Highlight is awarded to Kimberly Vicente Sica, a straight A student from Bess T. Shepherd Elementary School, who is known to all as a leader on and off the field by encouraging her team-mates. Vicente Sica started playing soccer with Operation Get Active in 2023.

The Teacher Appreciation Award recipient will be announced in February. The application is now open to nominate a deserving teacher in the Greater Chattanooga area. Parents and students are encouraged to nominate teachers who have positively impacted their lives through their teaching methods and positive experiences in the classrooms.
