Regions Bank Announces New Branch Opening In Hixson March 12

  • Tuesday, February 13, 2024
Regions Bank on Tuesday announced its latest Chattanooga-area investment – the company’s newly built Hixson branch.

"A superior customer experience is the driving force behind the design of the location, its custom-tailored financial services and the dedication of its entire staff," officials said.

The branch on Tennessee Highway 153 at Northpoint Boulevard is, in fact, one of the most modern Regions facilities in all of Tennessee. The large, modern facility replaces the bank’s older Hixson Pike, Highland and Northgate-Northpoint branch locations.

“With the opening of our more convenient, more modern Hixson location, we’re celebrating a new chapter in our bank’s history of service to Hamilton County and east Tennessee,” said Jason Allen, Chattanooga market executive for Regions.
“When people walk into a Regions location, we want them to experience the best in personal service. This branch is built around the concept of bankers greeting you personally when you enter the door and delivering customized services to not only meet your needs today – but also help you plan and achieve your financial goals for the future. From individual consumers to small-business owners, our customers can see the next chapter in Regions’ approach to personal service here at our newest location.”

"This approach to personal service is powered by an experience called the Regions Greenprint plan that starts with talking to a banker. Through these Greenprint conversations, Regions bankers help individual and small-business customers create personalized plans with recommended next steps to achieve their financial goals," officials said.

The Hixson branch also features three Regions DepositSmart ATMs. At one walk-up and two drive-through ATMs, customers can withdraw cash and also make deposits of cash or checks at any time around the clock. In addition to receiving deposits of cash and checks, the machines can actually cash checks for Regions customers, too.

“As convenient as our enhanced technology is, nothing replaces the personal relationships we’ve built with customers in Hixson for years, and the response to our new location has already been overwhelming,” Hixson Branch Manager Makayla Fletcher said. “We are here for more than just opening accounts, cashing checks or issuing loans. We’re here to make banking simpler, more intuitive and more beneficial for our neighbors in this community.”

“Our value proposition as a bank is really to help people build confidence in their financial skills,” added Jamie Stogsdill, consumer banking manager for Regions. “The technology and design of our Hixson branch helps us deliver a personalized path to build confidence from someone who cares. Additional Hixson branch technology advances include wi-fi for customers in the lobby, laptops for bankers that allow them to move with customers throughout the branch and meeting room space and technology for additional customer privacy and consultation.

“When people come into a bank to make a deposit and they’re not confident about their financial standing, they won’t feel comfortable initiating a conversation about things like a low credit score or a lack of budgeting. So, we have designed this bank branch for easier, personal and private conversations on everything from budgeting money to increasing a credit score to building a financial plan. It’s about helping customers build a personalized path to financial confidence.”

Growing and establishing new community connections is also at the top of the agenda for the Hixson branch, beginning with a grand opening set for March 12 at 9 a.m. Regions leaders will join the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting outside the branch. The bank will also make a grant presentation to community partners. Ms. Fletcher said her local team is proud to welcome neighbors to the new facility.

“The Hixson team is excited to be part of the new branch. We see the significant impact that we have in our community, and we want to continue to promote Regions as the place to bank,” Ms. Fletcher said. “Each local banker is committed to doing things the Regions way and investing in the lives of our neighbors. We are excited to see how lives will be changed in the Hixson community as a result.”

The Hixson branch’s lobby hours are:
• 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday;
• 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday; and
• 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday.
Drive-through hours are:
• 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday; and
• 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday.
