CHI Memorial Medical Group is pleased to announce the opening of CHI Memorial Interventional Pulmonology, a clinic focused on the pulmonary specialty that uses minimally-invasive procedures to treat lung conditions, including lung cancer.  The practice is part of Buz Standefer Lung Center and is led by Krish Bhadra, MD, fellowship-trained interventional pulmonologist, who joined CHI Memorial Medical Group in 2011.

A leader in the field of lung cancer care, Dr.

Bhadra was the first in the world to use FlouroNavigational bronchoscopy, and CHI Memorial is one of the highest volume sites in the world for Cone Beam CT.  These are advanced techniques that detect lung cancer in its early stages when it's most treatable and survival rates increase significantly.

Under Bhadra's leadership, CHI Memorial has reduced the time between a patient's lung cancer diagnosis and start of treatment from two to four months to two or three weeks.

Joining Dr. Bhadra at CHI Memorial Interventional Pulmonology are Bethany Condra, FNP-C, Johanna Cortes, AGACNP-BC, and Sarah Harris, FNP-C.  The clinic is located in the Missionary Ridge Medical Tower at 725 Glenwood Drive, Suite 490, Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.  Office hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m Monday - Thursday and 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Friday.  For more information, call (423) 495-2635.
