Covenant Tennis Goes 1-1 In Memphis

Men's Tennis continued the nonconference portion of its schedule on Saturday with matches against Rhodes and Hendrix. 

Game 1 Final: Covenant 3, Rhodes 6
Records: Covenant (3-1), Rhodes (2-0)

The Scots dropped their first match of the season against Rhodes College, 6-3 at the Leftwich Tennis Center. 

Game 2 Final: Covenant 6, Hendrix 3
Records: Covenant (4-1), Hendrix (2-4)

DOUBLES:

• In the No.
  1 doubles match, the duo of Austin Dreslinski and Ben Onufrock suffered a 8-3 defeat.
• Gill Dunn and Solomon Crouch were also defeated in the No. 2 doubles match, 8-2.
• Camden Lashley and Caleb Domkowksi rescued the Scots from a doubles sweep with an 8-3 win in the No. 3 slot. 

SINGLES:

• Onufrock was the only Covenant player to fall in singles, losing 3-6, 3-6 in the No. 1 position. 
• Dreslinski took care of business in the No. 2 slot with a 6-2, 6-4 result in the No. 2 singles match.
• Domkowski secured a two-point day in the No. 3 position with a 6-1, 6-2 win. 
• Crouch won an exciting match that went down to the tie-break in the No. 4 position, 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (7).
• Dunn got the job done in two tight sets, 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 5 slot. 
• Brock Boehling secured Covenant's final point with a 6-3, 6-3 win in the No. 6 match.
