City Of Lakesite Launches New And Improved Website

  • Tuesday, February 27, 2024
Officials with the City of Lakesite announce the launch of the City’s new and improved website.

Revize website design company was selected to redesign Lakesite’s former website. "Revize is nationally recognized as a leader in providing easy to use government websites specializing in meeting the need for the municipality to be accessible to the residents they serve," officials said.

Lakesite City Manager Kirsten Ert Acuff stated that the goal of Lakesite’s new website is to serve as a digital version of City Hall that enhances convenience for residents, businesses and visitors.
The website was designed with a focus on improved functionality, visual aesthetics and accessible information, she said.

Officials said, "In addition to reducing the City’s annual cost of website hosting and design services, users can now sign up for E-notify and receive e-mail notifications about new content being posted to the website. Users have the option to sign up to receive notifications for any and everything or for specific topics on the website such as emergency news, announcements about the community pool and events, open bid opportunities, updates to the sanitation schedule and other general city news.

"With the transition to the new website, community members will also no longer have to visit a separate website to access agendas and minutes for commission meetings.

"Users will be able to download any events listed on the city’s website calendar to their own digital calendar of choice."

Service requests can still be submitted as previously via www.lakesitetn.gov/service.
