U.S. Army Veteran And Engineer Was Known For His Generosity

Robert Michael Klink, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on March 16, 2024, in Rossville, Georgia.

He was born to Robert Eli Klink and Marie A. Porado on September 5, 1939. His early years were shared on a farm in Franklin, In., with his seven siblings, Joe; Sybilla; Joan; Roberta; David; Patricia; and John David creating memories filled with laughter and joy. After graduating from Butler High School in 1957, he went on to serve in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves. After earning a degree in civil engineering, Robert diligently built a successful career working around the globe as a consulting engineer before launching his own highly successful engineering firm. Robert was well known for his generosity of time and resources to his family and church community.

Robert is survived by a brother, David, a sister, Patricia, and five sons and their families: Kevin and Jenny Klink; Kent Klink; Kelly and Gina Klink; Kris and Melissa Klink; and Jeff and Jaime Klink. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, Robert M. Klink will be returned to Butler, In., and buried at Mt. Pleasant UMC in a private ceremony.

Arrangements are by the Cremation Center of Chattanooga, 1345 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
