3rd Annual RBG Ball Is June 1

The 3rd Annual RBG Ball (Red, Black & Green) is set for Saturday, June 1, at the Church On Main, 1601 Rossville Ave.

This year the black-tie ball will serve as the kick-off/fundraiser for the Chattanooga Festivals of Black Arts & Ideas' year-long series of festivals.

Ticket price includes entrance to the cocktail hour at 6 p.m. followed by a curated meal prepared by Celebrity Chef Kenyatta Ashford. At 7:45 p.m. the six historical African Kings and Queens will be announced who will be available for public appearances, birthday parties, and school visits throughout the year. Beginning at 8 p.m., will be the 3rd Annual Black Arts Awards. From 9-11 p.m. is dancing. 

This year’s theme is all red, so dress to the nines in your best formal red attire.
