Food City Closing Presents Hardship For Those Nearby

  • Tuesday, June 11, 2024

The Food City closing on 23rd Street will create a real hardship for many people who live nearby.

CNE worked with neighbors to build a series of food maps back in 2022 to bring awareness to other, smaller food locations nearby. We want to remind neighbors about these maps and stores.

It is important to have a local store you can go to get fresh food and we want to make sure people know there are still options in the area. You can find the maps free online the CNE website.
