Ronald Boyd Elsea, 77, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at his home.

Ronnie served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict with the 101st Airborne Division and served with the Soddy-Daisy Fire Dept. He was a avid gardener, a great shade tree mechanic and loved to fish. He retired from Wrigley Mars Manufacturing and was a contract painter. He was a member of the VVA Chapter 942 and the American Legion Post 107. He loved the Lord, his country and his family.

He was preceded in death by his infant sons, Ronnie Jr. and Zachary David Elsea, parents, Boyd and Julia Mae Elsea, sisters, Judy Elsea, Lola Randolph and Elizabeth Elsea and brother, Jimmy Elsea.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 36 years, Pamela Elsea, children, Kodii (Megan) Elsea, Rhonda and Matthew Elsea, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, Brenda Wooten, Martha Brock, Carol (Danny) Dennis, Michael Grant and Willard Elsea.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 20, at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Redmond and Pastor Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
