Henry releasing the hawk
Henry Taylor celebrated his ninth birthday by releasing a rehabbed hawk at his birthday party Saturday on Signal Mountain.
The red shouldered hawk was rehabbed through Happinest Raptor Recovery and Rehabilitation center. Alix Parks, the executive director, is a state licensed and federally permitted rehabber.
Henry named the bird Apollo. His grandfather, Frank Taylor, sponsored the rehabilitation of the bird.
