Cynthia “Cindy” Davis Clements, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Hixson on August 4, 2024, at the age of 66.

Cindy was born on June 7, 1958, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She graduated from Hixson High School in 1976. After graduation, Cindy married the love of her life, Charles Clements, on December 17, 1977. Together, they raised five children: Christy, Cassie, Chas, Cody, and Chelsea.

Cindy successfully dedicated her life to her family, helping to build the family antique business, and making a difference in her church and community in numerous and immeasurable ways. Cindy was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family, friends, and faith. She enjoyed gardening, music, and spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Grammy." She was an active member of Middle Church of Christ for over 45 years - co-leading the women’s and teens’ devotional groups, helping to organize the annual Vacation Bible School, assisting with the UTC Christian Student Center, and striving to be a Christ-like example in thought and deed to all she came in contact with.

Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Irene and Roy Eldredge; her father, Kit Carson Davis; and her beloved daughter, Cassie Clements.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Fugate; her husband of 46 years, Charles Clements; her daughters, Christy Beach (Matt) and Chelsea Beddoe (Sean); her sons, Chas Clements (Cyndi) and Cody Clements; her grandchildren, Arden Beach, Brock Beach, Colin Clements, Camila Clements, and Arlo Beddoe; her brothers, Shane Hatfield and Jason Davis; and her aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Clear Creek Church of Christ in Hixson, Tennessee. She will lie in state from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the church. Services to celebrate Cindy’s life will follow at 11 a.m., with Charles Clements presiding. Her burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Potter Children’s Home, the Chambliss Center for Children, Isaiah 117 House, the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research (fpwr.org), or Autism Speaks (autismspeaks.org).

Cindy’s love, warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
