Former Tennessee Vol standout Christian Moore, who helped the Volunteers win the 2024 College World Series, will be coming to town next week to play for the Rocket City Trash Pandas.

Moore, who was selected by the Los Angeles Angels with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, was promoted to the Trash Pandas after just two games with single-A Inland Empire 66ers.

The former Vol crushed a home run in his first game with the Trash Pandas.

The Lookouts posted on 'X', inviting current Tennessee head coach Tony Vitello to throw out the first pitch at one of the game. No word yet on if he will take them up on it.

Moore and the Trash Pandas will be in town for a series with the Lookouts from the 13th to the 18th.
