TVFCU Riverfront Nights wrapped up their 17th season last Saturday with music by The Malemen Band and Rick Rushing & The Blues Strangers. This season started on Memorial Day weekend and continued for 14 weeks.
Officials said, "The open access summer series was free, family-friendly and pet friendly. Record crowds came out to enjoy the Saturday evening performances that included A1A: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffet Band, On The Border: A Tribute To The Eagles, Back 2 Mac: A Fleetwood Mac Tribute, Drivin’ N Cryin’, Departure: A Tribute To Journey, Strung Like A Horse, and more.
"The series included three extended evenings with concessions opening at 4 p.m., as well as yard games, activities, and a kid’s area located on the Chattanooga Green.
The closure of Riverfront Parkway from Chestnut Street to Power Alley on these nights allowed patrons to freely flow from the Green to the riverfront."
“We were thrilled to see the community come out to support the 17th year of the TVFCU Riverfront Nights free music series,” said Mickey McCamish, Friends of the Festival executive director. “We’re always listening to our audience to make sure they have the best experience possible. We appreciate feedback and learning how we can be better and expand on the experience in the future.”
Friends of the Festival has posted a survey asking for feedback on this year’s series and what audiences would like to see in the future. To complete the survey, visit this

”This series wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our title sponsor TVFCU and numerous other sponsors, many of which have been with us since our earliest days,” said Mr. McCamish. “We are so grateful for the support we have received.”
