Jo Ann Tillman, 90, of Apison, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025.

Jo Ann was born in Chattanooga, on April 10, 1934, the daughter of the late Clarence Kelley and Daisy Hall Kelley. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Apison. Jo Ann was a devout Christian and very compassionate toward others. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was an excellent cook and kept an immaculate house. In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Tommy Tillman; two daughters, Teresa Peluso and Lisa Rauch; three grandchildren, Jordan Rauch, Kelley Greenwood, and Tommy Tillman; and three siblings, Clarence Kelley, Jr., Betty Tate, and Robert Kelley.

Survivors include her three children, Mitch Tillman (Baljmaa), Susie DeShazo (Mark), and David Tillman (Barbara); 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth “Buzz” Kelley (Marian).

A Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at noon Heritage Funeral Home with Fletcher Farris officiating. Interment will follow at Plowman Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
