Chattanooga's Antiques Show and Sale invites the public to join them at a new venue this year - The Signal Ballroom in the Chattanooga Choo Choo Complex, 21 Choo Choo Ave. - celebrating 51 years benefiting the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21-22, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Houston Museum of Decorative Arts is a Victorian house museum that opened in the 1960s in the Bluff View Art District. It displays the world-class decorative arts collection amassed by Anna Safley Houston.
The 51st Annual Antiques Show and Sale will feature over 20 antique dealers from around the country showcasing a diverse selection of merchandise from paintings to furniture to jewelry to glassware and more.
Proceeds from the three-day event benefit the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts education and outreach programs.
Admission is $20, which is good for in and out for all three days. One hundred percent of ticket sales benefit the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts. Presented by Barnett & Company.
A preview party will be held at The Signal Ballroom in the Chattanooga Choo Choo Complex on Thursday, Feb. 20 from 7-10 p.m.
Officials said, "Celebrate 'The Fabulous Houston' surrounded by beautiful antiques at our 51st Antiques Show Preview Party. This is an evening filled with music, old friends and treasure hunting. Enjoy delicious appetizers, grab a glass or two of bubbly and shop the show before the crowds arrive on Friday."
Tickets are $125 per person, which includes show admission all weekend ($20 value). Bundle tickets are available for the show admission, preview party and brunch at $195 per person. One hundred percent of ticket sales benefit the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts.
The Appraisal Fair with Heritage Auctions will be held at The Signal Ballroom on Friday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (time slot required).
Known as America's Auction House, Heritage Auction was founded in Dallas, Tx. in 1976. Heritage is an auctioneer of comics, fine art, books, luxury accessories, real estate and memorabilia from film, music, history and sports. The Appraisal Fair will have appraisers on-site to provide auction evaluations for both decorative arts and paintings. Cost is $30 for one item, which also includes one ticket to the Antiques Show and Sale ($20 value, good for all three days). Price is $10 for each additional item. Tickets and timed reservations are required.

A Champagne Brunch, with speaker Heather Turner of Thrifted Home Co., will be held at Renaissance Commons, 402 East 2nd St. in Chattanooga on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 9:30-11 a.m. (time slot required).
Officials said, "Join us for a Champagne Brunch at Renaissance Commons, next to the Houston Museum's Pop Up Museum and Gil Shop. Mimosas will be flowing, and a delicious brunch will be served while we hear from Heather Turner, an online antques influencer and founder of Thrifted Home Co. With over 180,000 followers on Instagram, Heather will talk about her successes antiquing online, as well as how to find local estate sales, and most importantly, how to find treasures that you love and enhance the beauty of your everyday life."
Tickets are $75 per person and include one ticket for the Antiques Show, good for three days ($20 value).
Brunch tickets also include complimentary admission to the Houston 'Pop Up' Museum and 20 percent off in the Gil Shop on the day of the brunch only.
