I am excited to see such a number of quality candidates competing in our Chattanooga City Council races this year. I am most intrigued that Jenni Berz is running for the seat on City Council in District 6.
Jenni is the best choice for this council seat given her years of working in lockstep with her mother, Dr. Carol Berz, who has been the Council representative the last 16 years. Jenni has actively listened to residents and assisted in delivering results supporting the needs in the district. Jenni attended meetings to hear resident input, neighborhood associations, and community work sessions as a support volunteer. Jenni knows District 6. She has deep roots in the district, having graduated from Brainard High School and has been a resident for years.
Citywide, Jenni has been instrumental in developing the Mayor's Council on Women for the past three administrations. This organization conducts an annual conference with nationally known speakers for a day of education and collaboration engaging women across the state. Jenni has taken on leadership roles in both the Chattanooga Chamber and Chattanooga Track Club.
Most importantly, Jenni is a hard worker driven to achieve positive outcomes that build community good will, strengthen families, provide support to vulnerable neighbors, and promote safety and housing in every neighborhood. Jenni has a proven track record of integrity, high energy and true grit. She was recently chosen as interim District 6 city councilwoman by the City Council to fill the unfinished term of her mother who passed away unexpectedly.
My words are inadequate to convey the value Jenni will bring to this district, the work of City Council, and the city of Chattanooga. It has been my pleasure and honor to work with her on numerous projects and community efforts. I admire her intelligence, awesome positive attitude, and spirit of love and care for her neighbors.
I enthusiastically encourage residents in District 6 to put Jenni Berz to work as your City Council representative. Vote Jenni Berz.

Jenni Berz deserves the best representation in district 6 of Hamilton County. Jenni learned from the best and that was her mother, Rep. Berz, who recently died.
I live in District 6 and know that another Berz namesake will serve us well.
