Associated General Contractors of East Tennessee held its Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony at the Westin on Wednesday, bringing together regional leaders in commercial construction to celebrate achievements, recognize outstanding contributions, and outline the future of the organization and industry.
AGC Chairman of the Board, Jerod Gilley, opened with the State of the Chapter Address, providing insights into the organization's progress and key initiatives for the coming year. He announced the incoming board members: Chris Callahan, president of Callahan Mechanical Contractors, and Jessica Stack, principal of TinkerMa Architects.
AGC celebrated receiving a national award from AGC of America as the fastest growing association chapter in the country with a 20 percent increase in membership over the past year. “AGC’s growth is a testament to our remarkable membership of friendly competitors who come together to make extraordinary things happen”, said Mr. Gilley. “I am so proud of the work we’ve done to advocate, elevate, and educate our industry.”
AGC East Tennessee honored individuals and companies that have demonstrated leadership, innovation and commitment to the commercial construction industry and community. The award winners included:
