3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Unconscious Person
A woman was found unconscious in the women’s restroom. EMS transported her where she was treated for a suspected fentanyl overdose. The narcotics and drug paraphernalia recovered from the party was seized for destruction. Police conducted a field interview of the party who dropped her off at the business.
Police responded to an alarm.
An employee advised it was an accidental activation.
Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person
Police were dispatched to an individual who had entered a business, was instructed to leave, and had to be removed by the reporting party. Officers met with the party and instructed him that if he was asked to leave a business he should comply with that request.
5700 BLK Ringgold Rd Walters Service Station – Auto Theft Recovery
Officers responded to this address to see a vehicle, previously stolen, and remove it from NCIC. The owner said she just wanted to drive home. The vehicle, a white Kia Soul, was removed from NCIC as stolen.
Mack Smith Road- Back EMS
Police were dispatched to a fall victim with CPR in progress. Police remained on scene and assisted EMS. The patient was transported to an area hospital.
S Seminole Drive- Check Well Being
Police went to this address on a follow-up for an anonymous tip of elder abuse/ check fraud. A caution note was added to the residence and one of the power attorneys/sons contact info was attached to the caution note. No criminal activity occurred.
3700 BLK Connelly – Watch List
A resident informed ERPD he watched someone on his ring camera walking through his yard. He asked to be put on the watchlist so extra patrol can go through the area.
3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist EMS/Check the Well-being
Police were originally dispatched regarding a male wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans who possibly fell in the parking lot. While proceeding to the call, police were informed of Hamilton County EMS requiring assistance with a resistant patient. Officers determined the two calls were the same and HCEMS advised they did not require police assistance.
601 Justice Way – Arrest Warrant
East Ridge Police received notification from dispatch that a subject in custody at Hamilton County had active East Ridge warrants for Petition to Revoke on Possession of Controlled Substance. Appropriate paperwork was faxed to the Hamilton Co Jail to serve the listed warrant.
4400 BLK Lanoir Cir – Theft
Officers responded to this location in reference to a reported theft. The resident said that his children's basketball goal had been in the front yard until approximately 2:30 today, at which point he discovered it was missing. He described the basketball goal as having a black post, a clear backboard, and a double orange hoop without a net. There are no known witnesses or available video evidence of the theft.
4226 Bennett Rd – Warrant Service
A man was arrested on East Ridge Warrants and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
3600 BLK Shirl Jo Lane – Domestic Disorder
Police were dispatched to the above address for a disorder. Both parties stated they were dating and had gotten into an argument. Additionally, both parties provided different stories regarding the argument. Police observed a small cut on one subject’s hand and a small cut on the other’s hand. Both parties denied a physical altercation took place. Police were unable to determine a primary aggressor. Both parties agreed to separate for the remainder of the night.
3300 BLK Gleason Dr- Harassment
A man alleged that his estranged wife threatened to shoot him over the phone. His claim of harassment was unable to be substantiated.
1200 BLK Poplar Street – Warrant Service
A woman was taken into custody on a valid East Ridge warrant for Alias Capias with the original charge of Disorderly Conduct. She was transported by Chattanooga Police Department to the Hamilton County Jail where she was served the warrant.
5500 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Noise Complaint
A caller requested police for excessive noise coming from her neighbor. Police discovered the neighbor digging a trench with an excavator in his yard during quiet hours and advised him to stop due to the noise causing a disturbance.
6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Civil Matter
A woman requested police to assist her in getting her personal belongings from her ex-husband. The officer explained the matter was a civil dispute and could not criminally prosecute.
5300 BLK Connell St.-Assault
Police responded to the listed address for an alleged assault. The caller stated her neighbor had spat on her juvenile son. Police spoke with all parties involved and could not determine if an assault had taken place. All parties involved were advised to avoid contact with each other.
900 BLK Spring Creek Rd.-Disorder
Police responded to the hospital for a disorderly patient in the ER. The caller stated the patient was screaming at staff and he was no longer receiving care and needed to leave. When the police arrived, they contacted the patient who was outside and visibly upset. It was found he had valid arrest warrants through Hamilton County. The party was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Day Shift March 15: B Team
900 BLK McBrien Rd – Alarm
Police responded to an alarm. The building appeared secure before the person responsible called and advised us to cancel our response.
1000 BLK John Ross Road – Alarm
Police responded to this business for an alarm. The officers discovered the alarm was triggered after lightning had apparently struck a nearby tall tree, causing said tree to expel splinters that struck the east side of the building, shattering multiple windows. A person responsible was notified and they advised they would contact the police if any further assistance would be required.
1300 BLK Boyd St – Theft
Officers spoke with a party by phone regarding a stolen Apple Watch package. FedEx confirmed delivery at 1128 hours with a photo, but by 1200 hours, it was missing. No surveillance footage is available. The victim provided the serial number for NCIC entry on Monday and was advised to report the theft to Apple.
3600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Theft
A party called ERPD to report a theft of her wallet. She accidentally left it in the buggy and when she returned the wallet was gone. Two females entered the store shortly after parks had left and walked up to the buggy she had left with the wallet still inside. When the two individuals left the store, the wallet was missing from the buggy and not turned in. Once identified, Theft of Property warrants will be obtained for the individuals.
6500 BLK Slater Road- Suspicious Person
The store called in about a male in the parking lot panhandling and bothering patrons. Police observed the suspect leaving the area and were able to stop him in a nearby parking lot. The man was identified.
5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Lost Property/Theft
A party reported she possibly left her black change purse at a business while renting a piece of equipment. She reported there had not been any activity on the credit cards that were inside the purse since she lost the item
Spring Creek Road/S Terrace – Assist CPD
While responding to a call, police observed a black Toyota Camry with a drive-out tag down the embankment at the intersection. Police were advised by dispatch that there was also an active disorder between the occupants of the vehicle. Officers assisted the single CPD unit, separating the parties until other CPD units arrived on scene.
S. Seminole Rd – Flooding
Due to the excessive rain coming in, S. Seminole flooded on the street which caused dangerous road conditions.
John Ross Rd – Flooding
This roadway also flooded and was monitored by patrol throughout the shift.
3600 BLK Ringgold Road- MVC Unknown Injuries/DUI Arrest
Reporting parties informed authorities that a single vehicle had collided with an embankment, struck a telephone pole, and rolled over onto its roof. When the police arrived at the scene, the driver fled behind a building. A brief foot chase ensued, and the suspect was taken into custody. He was medically cleared at the scene and then transported to the Hamilton County Jail. The suspect was charged with driving under the influence, evading arrest, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, violating due care laws, and driving without a valid driver's license.
6519 Ringgold Rd– Intoxicated party
A man was trespassed from the hotel after refusing to leave. He was intoxicated and believed his family was staying at the hotel. After his mother arrived, she informed officers they were staying next door. The party stated he understood the trespass.
1300 BLK San His Drive – Residential Fire
Police and fire department personnel responded to a possible residential fire after a resident reported seeing smoke via her home security camera.
Belvoir Avenue & Arnold Drive – Broke Down Auto
Police assisted a motorist with two flat tires. The officer, however, observed signs of intoxication and performed a field sobriety test. The sobriety tests did not indicate intoxication to a level of arrest. The driver was provided with a courtesy ride home in East Ridge.
6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder
Staff requested police assistance for a homeless customer refusing to leave. Police provided a courtesy ride for the suspect at his request due to complaints of chronic hip pain. No incident.
Greens Lake / Edwards Terrace – Disorder
A neighbor called and complained because cars were parked in the street, and he believed the cars were blocking the road. ERPD asked the homeowner to relocate the vehicles to his yard to prevent further conflict between neighbors. The homeowner stated that the reason all the vehicle was here was because a family member died in another country, and they are having the funeral via live broadcast.
Ringgold Road/Camp Jordon Parkway-Shots Fired
A Chattanooga Police officer informed East Ridge units that they had heard approximately 15 shots while at the Ringgold Road and Camp Jordon intersection, Police checked the area of Camp Jordon and surrounding subdivisions, no signs of shots being fired were located.
Prater Road at Ringgold Road- Animal Call
Police spotted two dogs in the middle of Ringgold Road. The dogs continued down the road to a home on Prater Road, where they remained until East Ridge Animal Services arrived on the scene.
5300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Business Alarm
The rear lot alarm was activated at this location and the key holder responded. The key holder looked through the property and advised officers everything looked normal with no signs of entry.
800 BLK Belvoir Crest Dr. – Assist Other Agency
Police were dispatched to this address following an NCIC hit from Northbrook, Illinois. The request was to check for a missing person who may be driving a gray Hyundai Elantra. The alert was based on a T-Mobile device location. He had made suicidal and homicidal threats, and it is unknown if he is armed. LPR data shows three hits on 3/16/2024 between the 4100–5400 block of Ringgold Rd and an updated location from the cell phone on I-24 WB near Spring Creek Rd at 1257 hours.

601 Justice Way – Warrant Service
A party was served an Alias Capias arrest warrant while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge was for driving on revoked, suspended, or canceled license.

A man was served two Forfeiture Capias warrants.
4200 BLK Ringgold Rd- SIA/Narcotics arrest
A woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.
5300 BLK Ringgold Road-MVC Injuries/DUI Arrest
Police responded to this location and found two vehicles in a head-on collision. A woman was found slumped over the steering wheel and was given Narcan to counteract opiates. She was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
6800 BLK Martha Avenue – Domestic Disorder
Two brothers were arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault after they strangled one another during a family gathering. Amidst the fighting, three additional family members sustained minor injuries, including an elderly woman whose hand was shut in a door. One suspect was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after police discovered several plastic straws and foil with suspected drug residue in his pocket.
10 BLK Edwards Terrace – Suspicious Activity
East Ridge Police accompanied Red Bank Police for an incident involving an assault that was reported to have occurred in their jurisdiction earlier today. The investigation is ongoing.
5300 BLK Ringgold Rd.-Theft
Police responded to the listed address regarding a theft from 03/13/2025. Upon police arrival they met with the store owner who stated on the above date a female came into the store with $1,900 in 100-dollar bills and requested change in 20-dollar bills. A female employee then grabbed a large stack of 20’s and began counting them out. The suspect female then grabbed the bills, concealed approximately $740.00 and gave the rest back. The female then requested her $1,900 back. The female employee did not realize what the suspect had done, and the suspect left the store.
Ringgold Rd.- Fraud
While investigating a separate incident at the listed address the owner reported a subject cashing a worthless check in December last year. At the time the RP did not provide proof of the check bouncing or even show officers the check itself.
700 BLK Germantown Circle- Unconscious
Officers received a call regarding a male who was found unconscious in his apartment. A party was found by his wife in the bathroom not breathing. She started CPR prior to police arrival. He was breathing but not coherent, so officers placed him in the rescue position to help with his respiration. Fire and Ems arrived, treated and transported the party.

6700 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Suspicious Person
Police spoke with a man who was sleeping outside the business. The owners advised they had no issue with him sleeping outside of their business and allowed him to stay. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
5800 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Suspicious Person
Police were dispatched on reports of a homeless person needing to be trespassed. Officers spoke with the woman who advised she was sitting outside the business. Police spoke with the owner who complained that she had been there all day, and her dog was barking at customers. The owner further stated he didn't want to confront her due to the animal. She was issued a trespass warning and sent on her way.
1400 BLK N Smith St.- Delayed Domestic Assault
Police spoke a woman who reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her at the hotel on 3/16/2025. She alleged that stated he had choked her twice and dragged her by her wrist. She provided police with images of bruising around her neck and nail marks on her arm. Charges pending further investigation.

Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple violations. The passenger was arrested on multiple warrants out of Catoosa County.

Police conducted a stop of a vehicle for multiple violations. The passenger had multiple warrants out of East Ridge and Collegedale.
300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Activity
Police were alerted to a male wearing a brim hat approaching females in the park and talking nonsensically. Officers located an individual matching the description dispatched. The man identified himself as a resident of East Ridge. He discussed needing to contact the president to defeat the people in charge of the climate change that has been affecting our weather as of late. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.

A Medical Examiner in Atlanta, GA requested police deliver a death notification after they tentatively identified a deceased party.

A party was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant for Probation Violation.
3600 BLK Shirl Jo Lane – Disorder
A distraught father called police after his adult son was being unruly. The son agreed to leave for the night.

4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity
Police responded to the bank on a report of two males vandalizing the building and exterior ATM. Officers located two adult males skateboarding in the parking lot. No damage or attempted vandalism was observed. The two individuals agreed to leave the area and skateboard at a different location.
6000 BLK Ringgold Rd – Public Intoxication / Arrest
Police observed a man struggling to walk as he crossed an intersection of Ringgold Road. It was found that he was intoxicated and did not know his current location. Due to safety concerns, he was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
5400 BLK Marion Avenue – Suspicious Activity
The resident reported that a woman known to her was in her yard uninvited and had a history of entering her shed without her permission. Police checked the area but found that she had left prior to their arrival.
4200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Arrest
A patrolling officer observed a SUV failing to maintain its lane and initiated a traffic stop. During the stop, Police found that the driver was intoxicated and in possession of open alcoholic beverage containers. He was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence and Open Container Law.
4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service Hold
Catoosa County Deputies arrested a man after he was found to have an active warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the warrant was Public Intoxication and a hold was sent to the Catoosa County Jail.
